What is the SPOBIS Conference?

The SPOBIS Conference is Europe's largest sports business event. For more than two decades, the conference has been an annual must-visit for all players in the industry. 5,000 participants and 1,500 international and national companies, including the biggest players in the sports business, come to the CCH to discuss trends, network and do business.

When and where will SPOBIS Conference take place?

The SPOBIS Conference 2026 will take place on February 04 - 05, 2026, at the CCH Congress Center in Hamburg.

What are the ticket categories and how do they differ?

There is a one-way ticket category at the SPOBIS Conference: an all-access ticket. This means even more networking potential, even more insights. You can find a detailed overview of all the services included in the ticket store. There is no longer a distinction between business and premium tickets.

How can I purchase a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased anytime through our ticket shop. After completing the order process, you will receive an email with your e-ticket and the corresponding invoice. Please bring the e-ticket – printed or on your mobile device – to the SPOBIS Conference.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Yes. However, please note that up to two weeks before the event, 50% of the ticket price will be retained as a cancellation fee. Starting from January 15, 2026, the complete ticket price will be retained as a cancellation fee.

Can I change my ticket to another person?

Yes. Please email us with all information (first & last name, address, email, job title & position) about the person the ticket is issued to and the person the ticket will be transferred to. Send your email to events@spobis.com.

Are tickets only available for the Get-together in the evening?

Thanks to the introduction of a single ticket category, all participants now have the opportunity to take part in the get-together.

My registration/discount code doesn't work. What should I do?

Are there discounts for students?

Yes, we offer groups of students a discounted SPOBIS Conference ticket for both event days at a price of only 149 euros net (plus VAT) per person. For organizational reasons, we kindly ask that a university staff member - who can confirm your student status - registers students as a group via email (events@spobis.com). Subsequently, they will receive a discount code for the final group order in the ticket shop. There is no minimum number of people per group.

Where is the check-in located?

The entrance is located at the CCH (Congressplatz 1, 20355 Hamburg). The check-in is also located there.

When will the check-in be open?

The check-in will be open on both February 04 and February 05 from 08:30 AM.

What is the fastest way to get news/updates about SPOBIS?

As a registered participant, you can best use our SPOBIS App, which will be activated in mid-December. In advance, we will inform you about news regarding the upcoming SPOBIS Conference with our SPOBIS Newsletter.

How can I become a partner, exhibitor or sponsor?

Where will the SPOBIS Conference side events take place?

The kick-off events the evening before will take place at external locations. Other side events such as the get-together, meet-ups and speed networking will take place at the CCH Congress Center in Hamburg, as will the stage programme.

What are the options for traveling to SPOBIS Conference?

The CCH Congress Center Hamburg is located in the Hamburg city center, close to the Dammtor train station, and is well-connected to the public transportation network. If you are arriving by car, you can park in the underground garage at Tiergartenstraße 2. The price per hour is 3 euros (maximum daily rate: 25 euros).

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code. Smart casual or business casual is always the right choice.

Will there be public Wi-Fi?

Yes, there will be public Wi-Fi available. You will receive the password at the beginning of the first day of the event via push notification in the SPOBIS conference app.

Is the stage programme in german or english?

There will be programme items in both German and English, with German predominating. We will indicate the respective language in our programme planner.

Where can I find the complete programme?

The programme can be viewed in our SPOBIS Conference app starting from mid-December.

Do I have to register for programme points?

No, it is not necessary to register in advance. However, it is worth being on time. Because: There is free choice of seats according to the motto “first come, first served”. The Masterclass rooms are limited to approx. 100 people.

Can I leave SPOBIS Conference and come back later?

Yes, you can leave the SPOBIS Conference and return at a later time. Just remember to keep your name badge and present it when re-entering.

Are food and drinks free of charge?

Yes, catering at the SPOBIS Conference 2026 is free of charge.
