Partnering Towards More Equitable and Equal Pay for Women in Sports: Investment, Innovation, and Impact with Bay FC

In 2024, Bay FC launched its partnerships framework rooted in values and responsibilities—to influence change and impact equity in the game of soccer and make an impact on the next generation. Together with partners, Bay FC is changing the landscape of women’s sports through a first-of-its-kind partnership that compensates current Bay FCplayers for driving commercial initiatives, focuses on additional player benefits and ways to maximize their financial opportunities, and provides resources for Bay Area youth girls across underrepresented communities. Bay FC’s partnership initiatives are a small step towards tackling the systemic challenges faced by female athletes and moving towards more equitable and equal pay for women in sports.
